Denver Broncos Under 44½

Here is a 32-8 system which dates all the way back to 1983: take ROAD teams like the Colts who just allowed at least 30 points in their prior game, UNDER a total of between 42'-and-49 points, versus an opponent after consecutive games where at least 50 TOTAL POINTS were scored! The key to this selection has to do with the Colts having NOTHING to play for as they just locked up the #3 playoff seed in the AFC last week. That means Peyton Manning and company will have LIMITED playing time this afternoon as at some point we will see Jim Sorgi. Head coach Tony Dungy will have no problem resting Manning after he finally broke the NFL record for most TD passes in a single season (49) last week. Of course, the Colts lead the league with an offense that averages 34 points per game. However, there is a huge possibility that the Colts and Broncos will be facing each other again next week in the Wildcard Playoff round, so the Colts will NOT be giving away any offensive secrets in this clash. After holding Tennessee to only 16 points on the road last week, Denver has the FOURTH BEST defense in the league giving up just 283 total yards per game. Denver has ALLOWED THE FEWEST FOURTH QUARTER POINTS in the league (48), shutting out 9 of 15 opponents in the fourth quarter!!!

GOOD LUCK
